JOHNSON CITY, TN [September 25, 2024] -  The Burnett Sisters Band and Wilson Pickins Promotions are excited to announce their alliance. Wilson Pickins will be the publicity and booking contact for this fresh and fast-rising band out of East Tennessee.   

Forming a band when the youngest was just six years old, The Burnett Sisters grew up competing in fiddle competitions and music festival contests together. In 2022, they brought home the top prize at the MerleFest Band Competition. Most recently, Anissa won first place among hundreds of competitors in the Galax 2024 old-time fiddle competition. 

The Burnett Sisters travel the world sharing their unique blend of swing, old-time, bluegrass, and gospel. The Band draws inspiration from legendary musicians of the old-time American music genre, traditional bluegrass artists, and classic country songwriters. 

A recent addition to the band, Geary Allen, on guitar, brings his heightened skill level to the band through not only his musical talents but also as a prolific songwriter. Geary joins sisters Anissa, Sophia, and Anneli Burnett in the band. 

Fans have already enjoyed their works, Timeless and Long Way From Home, each serving the listener with haunting harmony vocals and a refined instrumental prowess in their renditions of classic roots music. 

The Burnett Sisters Band will be showcasing in Raleigh, NC during the IBMA World of Bluegrass festivities on Friday, September 27th. We encourage everyone to check them out and get to know these rising stars.
