NASHVILLE, TN (September 23, 2025) — Fresh off a major win at the IBMA Momentum Awards ceremony in Chattanooga, TN, Ali Vance, lead singer of DownRiver Collective, was honored with Momentum Vocalist of the Year. This milestone comes just one year after the band itself was awarded Momentum Band of the Year, cementing their reputation as one of bluegrass music’s most exciting rising forces.

The award arrives on the heels of the band’s debut full-length album, GIVE IT ALL AWAY, released September 5. The record has already gained attention with its world premiere on SiriusXM Bluegrass Junction, where host Joey Black debuted the latest single “Catch Me If You Can” and featured an exclusive band interview. Written collaboratively by the band, the track joins two previously released singles to showcase DownRiver Collective’s signature mix of energy, creativity, and heart.

Earlier this month, the group celebrated the album release with a packed show at Nashville’s legendary Station Inn. They were also featured on the official IBMA LIVE Festival lineup, performing in downtown Chattanooga on Friday, September 19, in front of a lively crowd of fans and industry alike. Adding to their growing list of accolades, DownRiver Collective captured top honors at the FreshGrass Band Contest in Bentonville, Arkansas, securing a coveted recording session with Compass Records.
