With almost all of us graduating college by 2024, we were looking to build up our professional team over the Summer in preparation for moving to full-time touring, unrestricted by the academic schedule. I feel super fortunate to have connected with Melanie at WPP back in June. After years of doing the booking and promotion work all in-house, it’s been a great change of pace to have multiple folks working on all fronts. The spirit of teamwork is strong, and that's what I love about it. We had passed up working with several companies over the years where we didn’t feel seen or valued, it’s quite hard to find someone who will represent your best interests these days. But signing with WPP was a great fit with the direction we wanted to go, and I’m so grateful to be a part of this hard-working team. The talented and dynamic Kentucky duo of Adam and Aaron Bibelhauser are excited to release “A Place In The Sun," quite possibly one of the best examples of their individual vocals and brother harmony on the entire collection.

“In the past few years, Louisville, Kentucky has been shaken to its core, amid a global pandemic, racial inequity, gun violence, and the fallout surrounding the death of Breonna Taylor. Our hometown, seemingly a microcosm of the country at large, has struggled with social justice and a level of political unrest not seen since the 1960s. During a time, when it felt impossible to find bits of optimism on social media, I stumbled upon a video from way back in 1969. It was an epic duet with Stevie Wonder and Tom Jones singing “Place in the Sun”. In the video, the two superstars traded off singing powerful lead vocals, then switched back and forth singing the harmony parts. This reminded me of how Aaron and I have traded singing parts on many of our songs over the years. The lyrics gave me hope that we might soon find ourselves moving to a better place, and the image of Stevie & Tom singing together at the height of the civil rights movement was beyond inspiring. I knew right away, this was a song we should sing together, and I hope our interpretation of it moves and inspires a new generation.” - Adam Bibelhauser

“A Place In The Sun” marks the third single from the Bibelhauser Brothers timeless duet album, CLOSE HARMONY.

Single Credits:

Aaron Bibelhauser - vocal, guitar
Adam Bibelhauser - vocal, bass
Jeff Guernsey - mandolin
Steve Cooley - banjo

Video by Brennan Clark
Audio by Aaron Bibelhauser
Special thanks to Louisville Public Media, WFPK
Art, design by Grace Mayeur

As an added bonus, Aaron Bibelhauser has recorded his version of the John Hartford-penned “No End Love.” Hartford’s work has always had special significance for Aaron.

“My new single “No End Love” drops June 15. As far as music is concerned for Adam and Aaron Bibelhauser, these two apples clearly fell from the same branch of the same tree and landed side by side. Adam and Aaron have spent decades making music together in Kentucky where they are from, dipping their toes into many different genres. The brothers have garnered legions of fans throughout the years with their band "Relic" and with other individual musical efforts as well.

“In the early years of singing with my brother, I believe we conjured a force from within that truly guided our journey to adulthood. Like the confluence of two streams our voices united, keeping us connected to one another beyond the bounds of our youth. It is my hope that we have created something here that lives up to the authenticity of early brother duets from days gone by while solidifying the unique bond between us for the years that lie ahead.” -Adam

A brother's duet project is something that has been a "tabled discussion" for a long time, and it was finally right for them to come together and create this exceptional project. An album like this comes along so very rarely and we hope that you treasure it.

EASTANOLLEE, GA - The Edgar Loudermilk Band is excited to release their next new single "The Deal That Won't Go Down," off of the hit album The Dark Side Of Lonesome, released by Rural Rhythm Records in March 2022.

This snappy, toe-tapping grass tune again showcases Loudermilk's songwriting chops alongside band member and mandolin picker, Zack Autry. "The Deal That Won't Go Down" tells the age-old story of a broken-hearted rambler running from the love that scorned him. Skilled instrumentation and a dynamic arrangement surround Edgar Loudermilk's notable vocals. Listeners will also enjoy a guest fiddle appearance from Hunter Berry of The Rage band.

“This is a song I wrote with Zack Autry one night while travelling through the beautiful state of Colorado. We drove out of Denver on I-70 during a snowstorm and saw these big canyon walls. This immediately put us in the mindset to write a western-style cowboy song. It’s about a roving gambler who falls in love with a girl at one of his regular stops. He finds betrayal and catches himself in a bit of trouble.” -Edgar Loudermilk

This marks the third official single released from The Dark Side Of Lonesome which was lauded by Bluegrass Today's John Curtis Goad as "Loudermilk's best work yet." Bob Webster of Bluegrass Unlimited shared that "This is one you’ll surely want for your collection," and "Edgar and the band shine all the way on this excellent recording." We can expect more praise to roll in and for "The Deal That Won't Go Down" to climb way UP on the charts!

Edgar Loudermilk’s masterful bass skills and songwriting are a family tradition for this Louvin Brothers’ descendant. While his friendly, down-home style continues to win over audiences across the country, Loudermilk’s distinctive vocals and powerful storytelling indeed drives a genuine and personal connection with his listeners.

“I see songwriting as much of a calling as singing,” says Loudermilk. “Playing and singing live is always a good time and we love the audiences but connecting with people through relatable and meaningful songwriting is very rewarding.”

Loudermilk has penned chart-topping songs found on Bluegrass Today’s Top Songs of the Year, as well as on Bluegrass Unlimited’s Top Songs. Notably, the band’s 2019 album Lonesome Riverboat Blues reached #1 on Sirius XM’s Bluegrass Junction and reached “Most Played” status in July of 2019. The album also remained in Bluegrass Today’s Top 20 Airplay Charts for twelve consecutive weeks.

Loudermilk has also performed alongside some of the industry’s most revered talent, including award-winning groups Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, and Marty Raybon & Full Circle.
LOUISVILLE, KY - The talented and dynamic Kentucky duo of Adam and Aaron Bibelhauser are excited to release their lead single "Remember Me" from their forthcoming duet project Close Harmony, expected later this year.

“Remember Me” became the Bailes Brothers theme song when playing live on the air, and was a perfect fit to become the debut single from the Bibelhauser Brothers duet record, “Close Harmony”. Willie Nelson also cut the song on his famed “Red Headed Stranger” album, as well as Bluegrass Hall of Famers, Jim & Jesse McReynolds. We hope you enjoy our rendering of this classic that I consider being both up-to-date, and down-to-earth." - Aaron

The Players
Adam Bibelhauser - vocal, bass
Aaron Bibelhauser - vocal, guitar, dobro, banjo
Jeff Guernsey - fiddle
Michael Cleveland - mandolin

People often wonder about the similarities and differences that exist between a pair of identical twins. As far as music is concerned for the Bibelhauser Brothers, these two apples clearly fell from the same branch of the same tree and landed side by side.

A brothers duet project is something that has been a "tabled discussion" for a long time, and it was finally right for them to come together and create this exceptional project. An album like this comes along so very rarely and we hope that you treasure it the way we do.

"Remember Me" was written by Scott Wiseman, and the energy-infused arrangement will fill the listener with nostalgia and joy each time they hear it.
Anticipation has been growing for the release of the next bluegrass gospel project from esteemed Oklahoma singer-songwriter, Eddie Sanders, for quite some time. Engelhardt Music Group proudly releases the lead single, a brand new original, “From Here To Hallelujah” today, worldwide.

“From Here To Hallelujah” follows the success of the bluegrass album, That Kind Of Lonesome, which was released straight after the final single from his full gospel project in 2020. That single, a compelling cover of “Three Wooden Crosses,” made famous by Randy Travis, charted multiple times at number one on the Bluegrass Today Gospel Chart and ended the year as the most played Gospel song of the year.

Written by Eddie Sanders and Rodney Powell, “From Here To Hallelujah” sparks a feeling of hope and faith during a very unsure and insecure time in the world. All of this is wrapped up in a fantastic bluegrass gospel package made complete by Sander’s smooth, effortless vocals and his stellar go-to studio band.

“I’m so proud of our new single “From Here To Hallelujah “ it is the first release from our all new-all gospel album. Co-writer of the song is a friend of mine named Rodney Powell. I love the train ride groove that the band finds on this cut. The song simply talks about the fear and problems that the world faces daily. Hopefully, the song communicates the fact that you don’t have to fear and you don’t have to worry if you — get your ticket now “From Here to Hallelujah.’” -Eddie Sanders

“From Here To Hallelujah” promises to be the next big hit for Sanders and is the perfect uptempo, feel-good treatment for any playlist. Radio programmers and DJs can find the single on Airplay Direct, and it is available today worldwide for download and streaming from all of the popular online distributors.

Eddie Sanders is a world-class Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from McAlester, Oklahoma. Eddie was born into southwest bluegrass royalty, and his father is legendary bluegrass festival and concert promoter, Freddie Sanders. The Sanders Family Bluegrass Festival in McAlester was one of the biggest and best bluegrass festivals west of the Mississippi, and one of the favorite venues for bluegrass acts Bill Monroe, The Osborne Brothers, Lewis Family, Jim & Jesse, Ralph Stanley and nearly every major bluegrass act of the last 40 years. The McAlester festivals were shaped and guided by his major bluegrass influences: Mac Wiseman, Larry Sparks and The Osborne Brothers. He also developed the professionalism that he learned from the best acts in the business, and also learned the power of a song and a love for original material. Eddie was also strongly influenced by Merle Haggard and Gene Watson and soon started writing his own songs.

For many years Eddie Sanders was guitarist and lead vocalist with the widely-acclaimed band, “Signal Mountain”. Eddie’s fellow bandmates included: Shawn Camp (IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year, Earls of Leicester); Dennis Crouch (Elton John, Elvis Costello); Billy Joe Foster (Bill Monroe, Ricky Skaggs); Tim Crouch (The Whites, Mike Snider); and southwest bluegrass luminaries Donny Catron; Don McAfee; and The Bonham Brothers, Virgil and Glen! One of the finest bluegrass bands of that era to be sure!

Eddie’s songwriting skills increasingly brought him to Nashville for songwriting sessions with Shawn Camp, Ronnie Bowman, Dennis & Tim Crouch, Glen Duncan and Adam Engelhardt. Eddie wrote The Del McCoury Band’s hit single, “You Could Be Me”. Eddie has since had songs recorded by Amanda Cook, Kix Brooks & Wayne Toups, Terry Baucom & The Dukes of Drive, Lou Reid, The Del McCoury Band, Chris Roberts, & Glen Duncan.

Eddie’s work, both as a singer and a songwriter, combines the best elements of the old and the new. With a family tradition steeped in the history of bluegrass music, and influenced by the best of what has come along since, Eddie Sanders’ new recorded songs are a powerful statement of what the best bluegrass music has always been, and what the best bluegrass music will be in years to come.

Available today via Pinecastle Records, it marks the critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter’s first release in over seven years. The collection includes 11 new recordings, which all spotlight the multi-time IBMA “Guitar Player of the Year” winner’s laid-back Bluegrass vibe. Fans can download and/or stream From The Ground Up HERE.

Jim Hurst began turning heads with the album’s lead single, “Back To The One.” Written by Hurst alongside Jack Shannon, the song tells a story about losing love and wanting to do things a different way. It centers around the singer’s powerful voice, which delivers a soothing and laid-back tone. The follow-up was the latest single, “Weary Old Highway” which features fellow Bluegrassers Darin & Brook Aldridge. The Keith Little written tune describes returning to your roots, and all the twists and turns that are associated with life. It perfectly captures the feeling of traveling to perform shows, and the journey back home.

From The Ground Up features a diverse collection of songs that incorporate multiple genres, like the thought-provoking tracks “Sunnyside Garden” and “15 Miles to Birmingham,” along with Bluegrass / Gospel infused cuts including “It Started With Love” and “Nothin’ To Do But Pray.” Hurst penned four of the songs from the project, while being joined by an impressive list of guest songwriters (see full track listing below). It all comes together to create a one-of-a-kind vibe that only Jim Hurst is capable of accomplishing with his unique and artistic approach.
Wilson Pickins Promotionstag:wilsonpickins.agency,2005:Post/70315462022-06-28T14:05:00-04:002022-08-05T13:52:28-04:00Route 3 Signs With Pinecastle Records and Releases Brand New Single “Cartersville” from Upcoming Album ‘Losing Time’
Nashville, Tenn. - Award-winning bluegrass quartet Route 3 are the newest signees to Pinecastle Records. The band consists of members Jason Jordan, Doug Clifton, Gaylon Harper and Roy Bond, who have all performed nationwide prior to their formation as a band. To celebrate, they just debuted their brand new single “Cartersville,” which is the leadoff from their forthcoming project, Losing Time, set for release later this year. The upbeat anthem is available for download and streaming HERE.

“We are honored to be a part of the Pinecastle family,” the band said. “Pinecastle has always had deep history in Bluegrass music and has been at the top of the music business for many years. We are truly blessed and excited for this opportunity to work with this amazing group, and we look forward to the release of our new single ‘Cartersville.’”

The news was revealed exclusively by Bluegrass Today. “Cartersville” was written by member Jason Jordan, with mixing and mastering by Rickey Wasson and Ron Stewart (who guests on fiddle). It’s an upbeat track that tells the struggle of two outlaws from a town called Cartersville. Along the journey, it showcases the twists and turns that come along the way. It’s the newest taste of music following their debut album in 2019, which led them to take home an Arkansas Country Music Award for “Bluegrass Artist of the Year” in 2020.
Wilson Pickins Promotionstag:wilsonpickins.agency,2005:Post/70315762022-06-17T14:15:00-04:002022-08-05T14:03:46-04:00JOE HOTT RELEASES NEW SINGLE – RETURN TO ME SOMEDAY – & Performance Video Premiering On Bluegrass Today
Nashville, TN (June 17, 2022) – The (615) Hideaway Records is pleased to announce the new single “Return To Me Someday” from emerging Bluegrass artist and West Virginia born Joe Hott. The two singles complete their first EP since reforming the band.

The Ages Past bluegrass band is best known for their powerful sound, original material and "traditional with a twist" style, and recently reunited in 2022.

Some may recognize “If I Ever Get Back To Old Kentucky,” as a Dave Evans tune that the band began performing on sets and due to the enormous positive feedback from fans at shows, and their sheer love of the song, they decided to record. The second song released today is an original tune penned by Ronnie Davis and Roger Abernathy, called "Soco Gap," a familiar region most grassers will know. Both of these recordings are worthy additions to any radio program.

The band enjoyed recording their new material with Professor Dan Boner at the East Tennessee State University recording studio, who told us “It’s so fun to work with a band that plays with such dynamics and feeling in the studio.”

Bluegrass fans from the Southeast will remember Ages Past from regional festivals throughout the 1990s. Following a 20-year hiatus, original member Randy Gallion has restarted the band with a new lineup that includes himself on guitar, Chad Day on banjo, Jaime Carter on bass, Savannah Reed on mandolin, and the newest member Scott Ferguson on fiddle.

Radio can download these fantastic new bluegrass tracks on Airplay Direct and fans can download or stream from all the popular online distributors.
Wilson Pickins Promotionstag:wilsonpickins.agency,2005:Post/69804292022-05-13T14:00:00-04:002022-05-26T14:11:44-04:00Kristi Stanley Releases New Album Kristi on The (615) Hideaway Records - May 13, 2022
“Pure mountain soul with sass & sparkle to spare.
NASHVILLE, TN - Engelhardt Music Group is announcing the release of a new single from traditional bluegrass music's favorite all-star collaboration of the past few years, Fast Track. This marks the second single from the bands forthcoming third project with the Engelhardt Music Group label.

"Heartache And Trouble" once again shows us that this group of experienced grassers leaves nothing on the table when they choose their material, step into the recording studio, or take the stage for their fans. An original tune, written by Gerald Evans, Duane Sparks' soulful lead vocal tell this story with purpose and conviction, complete with the signature tight harmonies and superb instrumental prowess we have all come to expect from Fast Track.

The fast-moving tune follows the journey of a young man growing up who knows nothing but "Heartache And Trouble" all his life, fitting one of the many standard bluegrass music themes to a tea. Produced by Glen Duncan & Adam Engelhardt, we get the same stellar sound, arrangement and ear-pleasing quality that the previous Fast Track recordings have provided.

The Fast Track members are: Dale Perry (banjo, bass vocals), Steve Day (fiddle, vocals), Ron Spears (bass, vocals), Duane Sparks (guitar, vocals), and Shayne Bartley (mandolin, vocals).

Radio programmers can download "Heartache And Trouble" on Airplay Direct, and it's available worldwide from all the popular online distributors. Be sure to stay on the Fast Track online and on social media for all updated band tour dates and music news.

“Is It To Tell Me Goodbye” follows their lead single, “Two By Two,” from a forthcoming project with an expected release date yet to be determined. It features a stunning duet between two of the band's powerful lead singers, Randy Gallion and Savannah Reed, and was written by Jeff Davis.

The band enjoyed recording with Professor Dan Boner at the East Tennessee State University recording studio, who told us “It’s so fun to work with a band that plays with such dynamics and feeling in the studio.”

The highly anticipated release of the new project from one of Nashville’s top-tier acoustic guitar pickers, Bob Minner, drops today. “From Sulpher Springs To Rising Fawn” is an outstanding collaborative tribute to the legendary Norman Blake.

Following up the lead single “Ginseng Sullivan” with Ron Block, radio and fans will relish recordings with an all-star cast of artists also including Ronnie Bowman, Dale Ann Bradley, Shawn Camp, Mike Compton, Chris Eldridge, Vince Gill, Trey Hensley, Corinna Rose Logston, Kenny Smith, Tim Stafford and Jeremy Stephens.

Some may recognize Bob as the acoustic guitar player for country music superstar and actor, Tim McGraw. Others as a seasoned flatpick guitarist and accomplished bluegrass songwriter, having had his works recorded by such artists as Volume Five, Dailey & Vincent, Sideline, Blue Highway, Ronnie Bowman and more.

Raised in the bluegrass heavy region of Missouri, Minner started out young with a love for music and a desire to play and learn all he could. And by young, we mean his first guitar at age two. But it wasn't until he was twelve that his mind was opened to the musical stylings of the great Norman Blake.

“Norman Blake was my first influence on guitar, and I remember buying my first Blake album, Whiskey Before Breakfast, when I was 12 years old in 1978 with my own money. Now all these years later at 56 years old, it seemed fitting and about time to bring together some old and new friends and create this tribute project to the musical legacy of Norman and Nancy Blake. All of the collaborators brought such a fresh wind to the time-honored sails of these songs. I’m so excited to share this with the world and I hope it’s as enjoyable to listen to as it was to record.”
- Bob Minner

“After Glen and I finished the song and were talking about song titles, he said how it sounded to him like rushing water or a waterfall,” says Steve Wilson. “My wife suggested we name it after our famous local waterfall here in Oconee County, SC, called ‘Issaqueena Falls.’ There’s a great Cherokee Indian legend behind the name of course, which one could receive as either tragic or romantic, so it definitely suits a bluegrass song. The amazing musicians on this track really tell a vibrant and exciting tale with each part and we couldn’t be more proud of how the collaboration turned out!”

“Issaqueena” is an upbeat track that was written by Wilson alongside Glen Crain. It stays true to the group’s defined sound, which centers around arrangement by studio veteran Steve Wilson. The falls are named for a legendary Cherokee girl who is said to have leaped from the top of the falls with her lover, either an Oconee brave, a white trader named Allan Francis, or a white silversmith named David Francis. In the story, Issaqueena and her lover either die together or they land on a ledge out of sight of hostile tribesmen and eventually live happily ever after. Fans who are subscribed to Banjo Newsletter can also get the tabs for the song which was featured in the May 2021 issue, where Wilson graced the cover.
Wilson Pickins Promotionstag:wilsonpickins.agency,2005:Post/69804952022-03-07T15:35:00-05:002022-05-26T15:25:42-04:00Instrumental single "Canebrake" from The Sharp Flatpickers

NASHVILLE, TN - Exciting news in the world of acoustic guitar and roots music comes from 30-year veteran, Bob Minner this week.

Some may recognize Bob as long time acoustic guitar player for country music superstar and actor, Tim McGraw.

I’m so excited to share this with the world and I hope it’s as enjoyable to listen to as it was to record.” - Bob Minner

Decades later, Bob Minner has created a tribute project to his friend and first mentor, including many of the songs that he has loved and respected from Norman Blake throughout his career.

Teamed up with Engelhardt Music Group and Wilson Pickins Promotions to release the album for Norman's 84th birthday, on March 10, 2022. Bob couldn't be more excited to unleash the labor of love that includes many featured artists, such as Ron Block, Ronnie Bowman, Dale Ann Bradley, Shawn Camp, Vince Gill, Chris Eldridge and more. The official worldwide release date is March 11, 2022.

“I recently had the pleasure to play the album for Norman and Nancy at their home, and they gave it their full endorsement, which was both appreciated and very kind of them.” -Bob Minner

Stay tuned as we near the exciting release date for this epic collection.
Wilson Pickins Promotionstag:wilsonpickins.agency,2005:Post/69804362022-02-02T03:00:00-05:002022-05-26T14:18:34-04:00Tina Adair Drops New Single "Why You Been Gone So Long"
New Single
"Why You Been Gone So Long"
Drops for Tina Adair on
Engelhardt Music Group

They’re kicking off the new year with a brand new original song “Burning The Midnight Oil”.

The new radio-friendly single was written by band member and award-winning songwriter, Aaron Bibelhauser during a long weekend of recording with the band a few months back. The message is certainly one that many folks can relate to, feeling overworked and scrambling to make time to show our loved ones how much they mean to us. Combining soaring fiddle, banjo, and mandolin with their signature, powerful three-part harmony, Wolfpen Branch hits the bluegrass nail, squarely on the head with this one.

"Burning The Midnight Oil” features Aaron Bibelhauser (banjo) and Chris Shouse (mandolin) taking turns on the lead vocal, with guitarist Arthur Hancock singing the high lonesome harmony, Roddy Puckett on bass, and newcomer member Jeff Guernsey holding down fiddle duties. Guernsey may be a new face within Wolfpen Branch but he’s no stranger to bluegrass music. He toured professionally with Grand Ole Opry stars Vince Gill and Steve Wariner for ten years and currently teaches dozens of students each week, mainly around the Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY area.
