For her second release from the forthcoming Mountain Fever Records album, Amanda Cook chooses a song written by budding songwriter and banjo player for the band, Carolyne Van Lierop Boone, along with her husband Troy Boone. Troy was also recently hired by Amanda to assume the mandolin player role.
West Virginia Coal tells a sad story, not necessarily new to bluegrass, but with a great sound, arrangement and delivery by passionate songstress, Amanda Cook and her able crew. Amanda said, "I knew as soon as I heard the demo that it as a song for us."
The album is available everywhere popular music is streamed or purchased, as well as at Airplay Direct for radio download.
