RINER, VA. - "Selah"... a musicians pause, perhaps to take a breath, to sing a cappella, or to let the instruments play alone. This was one of the thoughts behind naming the breathtaking little corner of the New River Valley known as SELAH SPRINGS FARM.
Selah Springs is excited to announce the launch of their first official Concert Series for 2022 with the venue of their beautiful event as the backdrop. A trial run with a few concerts over the last year following the pandemic solidified the public interest in continuing the offering. Venue owner, Linda Robinson, contacted Melanie Wilson at Wilson Pickins Promotions to assist her in the effort with booking the talent and helping get the word out.
"We are really looking forward to continuing to offer live music at the Farm. The pandemic caused a lot of hardship for the musicians and music-loving fans, and we have this big beautiful place that is just perfect for it. The hills will definitely be alive with the sound of music again at Selah Springs and we are ecstatic over the fantastic lineup! We hope to see your face in the crowd!" -Linda Robinson
The Series will be offering a Season Pass that can be purchased and allows the ticket holder to attend any or all of the events throughout June-October. The pass provides a 10% discount, and you might use your savings towards the local farm to table vendor offerings available at each show.
Scheduled to appear at the 2022 Selah Springs Concert Series are: Deeper Shade of Blue, Fast Track, Junior Sisk Band, Joe Hott and Jim Hurst. You can get more details and purchase your tickets when they go on sale, November 15th at selahspringsfarm.com.
There is also one show remaining this year at the Farm. On November 27, recent The Voice contestant, Carson Peters, and Iron Mountain are scheduled to perform at 3 pm, with guest, MerleFest 2021 Songwriter finalist, Scott Patrick. Tickets are available on the website now for this event.
